Technical assistance measure for small businesses (non-refundable contribution)

Be part of the turning point and take part in the Green Shift Program! Get specialized expertise to guide you in improving your environmental and economic performance.

This program aims to stimulate the greening of Quebec's regional ecosystem by supporting regional companies and organizations in need of specialized expertise to improve their environmental and economic performance.

 

Projects must fall within one of the following priorities

 

  • Optimization of waste management and processes
  • Optimization of energy consumption and efficiency
  • Optimization of freight transport
  • Responsible sourcing
  • Carbon footprint and greenhouse gas reduction potential
  • Product lifecycle analysis
  • Sustainable business models
  • Ecodesign

 

Eligible customers

Private companies, cooperatives, non-profit organizations (NPOs) and social economy enterprises.

200 employees or less and sales under $2M (certain exceptions may apply).

The company's main business office is located in the CAE Capital territory.

Conditions

Technical assistance projects must be related to sustainable development themes.

Technical assistance projects must be delivered by specialized external resources with recognized expertise in providing advice and guidance on issues related to sustainable development.

Eligible contribution

The contribution is intended to support companies in need of strategic technical support through advice and coaching to improve their environmental performance. (contribution applicable to professional consulting fees).

Non-repayable contribution of a minimum of $4,900 and a maximum of $15,000 (depending on eligible expenses).

Documents to be provided

  • Virage Vert application form.
  • Provide 1 consultant quote (a 2nd quote may be requested).
  • Provide your financial statements for the past year.

Important dates

Application deadline: December 12, 2023, at 12 p.m.

Deadline for mandates: March 1, 2024.
